Anabela Lourenço is a Luxembourg based Independent Non-Executive Director. She has more than 20 years of experience in Luxembourg in big four, out of which 10 years as Partner advising large financial sector clients and their boards with their tax strategy and fiscal risks. She has been an active member of ABBL/ACA tax working groups.

She is an experienced Non-Executive Director with expertise in corporate and tax governance, finance and accounting, compliance, branches oversight. Her goals is to bring the most added value to clients while building a sustainable long-term relationship with them.

She serves various boards, as NED, among which Luxembourg-based financial sector clients. When serving her clients she follows a transversal and pragmatic approach. To include a sustainability lens in her advice to clients she certified in Sustainable Finance and Transition to Net Zero Carbon at Cambridge University.

She is chartered accountant in Luxembourg. She is an active member of the LPEA INED Club and ESG working group as well as a regular speaker at conferences.

Anabela is convinced that integrating tax governance/regulatory/compliance as well as ESG dimensions in board decisions is a key safeguard for the protection of the shareholders and the business. Indeed, it generates sustainable business opportunities, saves costs and mitigates risks.
